About Parking

The City of Atlanta has more than 2,400 paid on-street parking spaces within the City limits as well as thousands of other time-limited and residential parking spaces. On-street metered parking spaces offer visitors short-term parking while they shop, dine and conduct business. Most regulated spaces are located in the core business districts and surrounding areas, including:

• Buckhead
• Castleberry Hill
• East Central Business District
• Little Five Points
• North Midtown
• South Midtown
• Virginia Highlands
• West Central Business District
• West End

Time-limited parking

The City of Atlanta has a number of areas where on-street parking is time limited. Time-limited parking encourages more turnover thus making it more convenient to find available parking spaces for those who visit the City of Atlanta.
