Mayor Kasim Reed and the Department of Public Works to Announce the Launch of ATLPlus

On Wednesday, June 14, 2017, Mayor Kasim Reed and the Department of Public Works will announce the launch of ATLPlus, the City of Atlanta’s new parking program. The announcement will be made at 10:30 a.m. in the City Hall Atrium. All members of the media and public are welcome to join in on the event.

Mayor Reed will discuss enhancements in the customer parking experience made through the new program. Demos will be shown on the new mobile app and new multi-space meters, and the new ATLPlus vehicles and uniformed ambassadors will be on-site. People will also be encouraged to download the Parkmobile app to receive free parking minutes.

All in attendance will be treated to free King of Pops, popcorn, and cotton candy.
