The Atlanta History Center (AHC) is a history museum and research center located in the Buckhead district of Atlanta. The 33-acre educational center was founded in 1926, and currently offers award-winning exhibitions, historic houses, enchanting gardens, and interactive activities year-round. Permanent exhibitions at the center include the Centennial Olympic Games; Turning Point: The American Civil War; Metropolitan Frontiers; Shaping Traditions: Folk Arts in a Changing South; Down the Fairway with Bobby Jones; and Philip Trammell Shutze: Atlanta Classicist, Connoisseur, and Collector.
